New RICO law could impact Pinal County lawsuit

PHOENIX — Reforms Gov. Doug Ducey signed into law last month concerning Arizona’s civil forfeiture procedures may impact an ongoing lawsuit against Pinal County. Two years ago, the American Civil Liberties Union filed suit after the Pinal County Attorney’s Office seized a San Tan Valley woman’s truck and sold it.
