Apache Junction school district to switch to 4-day week

APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. (AP) - A suburban Phoenix school district facing a budget shortfall will switch to a four-day school week in the fall. The Apache Junction Unified School District board's decision Tuesday night follows a similar move by another Pinal County district, Coolidge Unified.
