After multiple cycles of very predictable results, Arizona politics was finally shaken up a bit by the midterms of 2018, at least on the state level. In recent elections, Republicans have swept state-wide races, often regardless of who the candidate is. Ask Republicans how blindly voting for Diane Douglas in 2014 worked out for them.
